Islamabad/Ashgabat (TDI): Leaders from various countries and international organizations are gathering in Turkmenistan for celebrating the 300th birth anniversary of a great Turkmen thinker, poet and philosopher Magtymguly Faragi.
President of Pakistan Asif Zardari is expected to land in Ashgabat by the Thursday evening. Some other heads of states are also reaching there shortly.
The International Forum titled “Interrelation of Times and Civilizations – Basis of Peace and Development” is being held in Ashgabat on October 10-11, 2024.
Media reports in Turkmenistan suggest that the main event in this regard is set to take place on October 11 in Ashgabat.
Leaders from Russia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and other countries will participate in the international forum.
From Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari is expected to arrive in Turkmenistan today.

The event will be held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, as well as at the Ăťyldyz and Garagum hotels.
Over 800 journalists from around the world are expected to attend, emphasizing the international significance of the forum.
In addition to heads of state, the forum will also feature leaders of international organizations, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Economic Cooperation Organization, the Turkic Council (TURKSOY), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and UNESCO.

Magtymguly Faragi has promoted peace, love and humanity and his thoughts are considered essential for cultural integration in the region.
In May, an International Conference at the level of ministers of culture from foreign countries, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker of the East.
Magtymguly Fragi, was organized by Turkmenistan.
Almost all the regional countries and delegates from the Middle Eastern countries as well as international organizations participated in the event.
