Hanoi, 20 August 2021 (TDI): Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will have his first official multilateral external affairs activity by attending the 42nd General Assembly of ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA 42) held via videoconference from August 23 to 25 with the theme “Forging Parliamentary Cooperation in Digital Inclusion towards ASEAN Community 2025”.
Vuong will deliver a keynote address at the AIPA 42 general session, convey the message of a Vietnam of constant innovation, an active and responsible, and proactive Vietnamese National Assembly in regional multilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation.
