Ho Chi Minh, 28 October 2021 (TDI): Australia has sent final lot of Covid19 vaccination to Vietnam. The consignment consists of 1.5 million Covid-19 vaccine doses. They reached Vietnam, today.
Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister for Women, Marise Payne undrescored her country’s role for shared recovery in the wake of the pandemic.
She noted that Australia will continuously cooperate to share vaccine with partner countries.
Today, the final delivery of our committed 1.5m 🇦🇺-made COVID vaccine doses arrived in Vietnam. This package complements $60 million assistance to the Vietnam to support its domestic vaccination.
Earlier, US also sent 2.6 million doses of vaccines to Vietnam in its fight against the Covid-19 Pandemic.
