Lima, 28 September 2021 (TDI): The Vice-Chancellor of Peru, Luis Enrique Chavez, held a video conference with his Bolivian counterpart Freddy Mamani on 27 September.
The meeting was held to discuss further cooperation and integration with the social dimension. The video conference was also scheduled to prepare for the next Presidential meeting and the VI Binational Cabinet, scheduled for next October.
The Bolivian President announced on 29 July 2021 that Bolivia and Peru have resumed the Presidential Meetings and the Binational Cabinets. According to the Bolivian Foreign Relations Office, the last Presidential Meeting and Binational Cabinet were in June 2019.
