New York, 2 February 2023 (TDI): The Ambassador of Malta Vanessa Frazier assumed the charge of presidency at the UN Security Council for February.
She said, “Today I assumed, on behalf of Malta, the Presidency of the UN Security Council. As a young girl and later as a young diplomat, never did I imagine that I would have the privilege to utter these words.”

She also served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a desk officer for the United States (US) and later in the Mediterranean Department.
