Washington,15 August 2021 (TDI): Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed the diplomatic solution in Afghanistan with Canadian Foreign Minister Marc Garneau today. Secretary Blinken also expressed admiration to the Foreign Minister for his country’s pledge to resettling 20,000 Afghans in need. “I am grateful for Canada’s shared commitment to bring vulnerable Afghans to safety,” he added in a tweet.
