New York, 26 September 2021 (TDI): The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with his ASEAN counterparts on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
Reporting after the meeting, Secretary Blinken stated that they discussed the ‘shared vision for Indo-Pacific’ and expressed his gratitude to ASEAN states for their efforts and endeavors against Covid-19.
Secretary Blinken also expressed his gratitude to ASEAN states for working tirelessly towards ‘sustainable recovery.‘ He also reiterated the US stance on Indo-Pacific that US support for the region and its stance is unwavering.
