Kabul, 12 August 2021 (TDI): Ross Wilson, Chargé d’Affaires to Afghanistan, stated that the statement of the Taliban in the Doha talks does not resemble or identical to their actions.
In different cities, the violations by the Taliban are undeniable. In the last weeks, the escalation of violence leads to the killings of women, children, and minorities, mass assassination, and displacement of thousands. There are excessive killings and instability by the Taliban particularly in Ghazni, Kandahar, Helmand, and Badakhshan.
It was said that the Taliban’s attempt to monopolize power through violence, fear, and displacement would only lead to isolation from the international community.
