US donates COVID-19 vaccines to Pakistan

The United States of America donated 3 million doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to Pakistan. This donation to the Government of Pakistan was made via COVAX and UNICEF. During the handover ceremony of the vaccines, the U.S. Embassy Chargé d’affaires Angela Aggeler shared, “We are here today because we share a common goal – supporting access to COVID-19 vaccines for the populations that need them the most.” Dr. Faisal Sultan was also in attendance during the ceremony.
