Washington, 21 August 2021 (TDI): The government of the United States of America donated 81,900 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to Botswana. This donation to the government of Botswana is made via COVAX, Gavi, and Africa Union. The United States is committed to sharing as many vaccines around the world as possible to fight against the pandemic. These donations will help the people of Botswana to defeat the pandemic.
