Islamabad, 25 July 2022 (TDI): The Ambassador of the United States (US), Donald Blome visited the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA).

The Ambassador expressed his delight in witnessing the creativity as well as the diversity of talent from the artists of Pakistan at the Collective Ground exhibit of PNCA.
Ambassador Donald Blome further shared that “visiting the Pakistan National Council of the Arts permanent collection was a great opportunity to see the work from Pakistan’s most famous artists.”
He went on to state on Twitter that the Embassy of the US in Pakistan has had a long tradition to support collaboration between artists from Pakistan and America. Lastly, the US Ambassador pledged that he and his team will continue the tradition.
In addition, Donald Blome also underscored the relationship of the US Embassy with the PNCA by stating that “Our 45-year relationship with PNCA has included sponsoring American theatre, artists, film, and Pakistan’s largest music festival, the Music Mela.”
Pakistan-US Cultural Ties
Pakistan and the US enjoy cordial diplomatic ties. The two frequently cooperate in the field of culture. Also, for the commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Pakistan and the US, the two will showcase close cultural linkages.
Such exchanges will strengthen the people’s ties. Earlier, the two partners also collaborated on a multi-year museum and archival capacity-building project.
Moreover, the Ambassador of Pakistan, Masood Khan has also expressed his desire to work with the Smithsonian Institute in diverse cultural fields.
This will be accomplished through bilateral exchanges along with organizing events for the promotion of rich Pakistani culture in the US.
