Bangkok, 12 October 2021 (TDI): The United states and Thailand has strong relationship spanning over nearly 200 years. Bilateral trade relationship promotes regional stability and strengthen ties between public. On 12 October 2021 United States (US) gave 200 vaccine refrigerators to Thailand (Thai) to fight against the covid-19.

Thailand’s public Health Minister arranged the celebrating ceremony for US donation to Thailand . Admiral John C. Aquilino, Commander of U.S. Indo Pacific Command delivered the refrigerators to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health, Anutin Charnvirakul, today at the Ministry of Public Health.
The approximate value of donation is $1.2M (40.5M THB). These will help 114 public hospitals in Thailand. In expressing gratitude to the Defence Department of the U.S and the U.S. Embassy in Thailand Deputy Prime Minister Anutin said that
“The cold storage vaccine refrigerators are cold, but our friendship is warm.” This payment, and other civil-military missions, show America’s strong ties with Thai partners in the fight against COVID-19 and other challenges.
