Dubai, 8 October 2021 (TDI): UAE Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor received Saudi Arabia’s Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd.
The Saudi Press Agency informed that the UAE Minister of State in Abu Dhabi attended the meeting. It counts with the presence of Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security.
In preparations for the 2020 Dubai Expo, Saudi Arabia allowed citizens to travel to the United Arab Emirates, opening a key market weeks before the event. In the same way, last month, authorities from both nations established communication to bring their diplomatic relations closer, although they did not give specific details.
Undoubtedly, relations between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are strategically important. As neighbors of the Gulf, the authorities have classified their security alliance and their commercial exchange as “strategically important”, as it represents a valuable potential for both nations and their citizens.
