Ankara, 30 December 2022 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Turkiye, Mevlut Cavusoglu will be visiting Brazil to attend the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President and for other matters.

The inauguration ceremony of the elected Brazilian President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is scheduled to take place on 1 January 2023. This event will bring together many heads of state invited and other dignitaries.

Because of that, the Foreign Minister is set to start his journey close to today. He will travel with a host of other people in the name of the country.

During his visit, he will meet up with other stakeholders and heads of state for bilateral talks. Matters are of great importance to the people and government of Turkiye.

He will also use the opportunity to be able to establish the stronger relations that Brazil and Turkiye have had all over these years. Matters related to economic relations are set to be discussed when he meets with other dignitaries.

Turkiye is seeking a stronger economic relationship with many countries. The economic investment of the Turkiye government with other countries has brought developments to them.

Also, the issue of bilateral relations having to do with the movement of people among these countries is of great importance to them as well. They will seek to build that strong relationship with other attendees who are heads of state and foreign ministers.

Brazil & Turkiye has been two great friends when it comes to bilateral and diplomatic relations. They have constantly related well to each other through support and other cultural exchanges.

The people of Brazil elected their President on 30 October 2022 after a round-off for the first elections which took place on the 3 of the same month.

Many heads of state and partners congratulated him on his victory. Turkiye was also one of those who expressed their joy at his victory.
