Istanbul Grain Deal
The Istanbul Grain Deal opened a safe maritime humanitarian corridor in the Black Sea, allowing over 900 ships full of grain and additional foodstuffs to leave three Ukrainian ports: Chornomorsk, Odesa, and Yuzhny/Pivdennyi.
This initiative has helped alleviate the suffering of many people affected by the conflict in Ukraine. Minister Çavuşoğlu stressed that Türkiye would spare no effort to achieve a just and lasting peace in the region.
The Foreign Minister of Turkiye hoped peace negotiations would effectively settle the Ukraine conflict and pave the way for a brighter future for all parties involved.
Çavuşoğlu affirmed that Türkiye remains committed to working with all nations to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. The country will continue to play a constructive role in resolving conflicts peacefully, in line with its longstanding tradition of diplomacy and dialogue.
