Lahore (TDI): Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Irfan Neziroglu on Friday visited the Commercial Attaché’s Office of Türkiye’s Consulate General in Lahore.
During the visit, Ambassador Irfan received a warm welcome from the Consulate General. He was given a briefing regarding trade cooperation and investment opportunities between the two countries.
Last week, the Turkish envoy visited the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO) headquarters, where he engaged in discussions with IPO-Pakistan Chairperson Ambassador (R) Furkh Amil and officials about enhancing bilateral cooperation in intellectual property.
The meeting focused on key areas such as trademark, patent, copyright protection, and geographical indications, emphasizing the importance of intellectual property for the economic growth and development of both countries.
The visit marked a significant step in strengthening Pakistan-Turkiye ties, with a shared commitment to fostering innovations and economic uplift through better intellectual property rights.
The Turkish envoy emphasized the need for both nations to join forces to promote intellectual property rights and to create a favourable environment for businesses and innovators to thrive.
