Islamabad (TDI): President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday formally received credentials from Irfan Neziroglu, the newly appointed Ambassador-designate of Turkiye to Pakistan, during a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
During the meeting, Ambassador Neziroglu conveyed warm greetings from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and expressed Turkiye’s commitment to enhancing diplomatic and economic ties with Pakistan.
He highlighted the deep-rooted historical and cultural connections between the two nations, emphasizing the importance of bolstering cooperation in sectors such as trade, defense, and education.
President Zardari welcomed the ambassador-designate and reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to strengthening its relationship with Turkiye.
