The Romanian Foreign Minister also respected the role of Qatar in evacuating Afghan and Allied citizens from Afghanistan due to the withdrawal of the United States from Afghan soil after its long 20 years war. Bogdan Aurescu acknowledged the role of Qatar in the regional stability as it provided its good offices to the US to formulate a peace treaty with the Taliban, which now famously is known as the Doha Accords.
