This October People’s Republic of China has celebrated the 72 anniversary of its foundation. The year 2021 has a special meaning for the Chinese people, this is not only the 100th year of the foundation of the Communist Party of China but also a year where China has made the declaration for uplifting people out of poverty.

Over the past more than seven decades, China has made remarkable national development progress that has helped the entire humanity.

For instance, China is now the second-largest economy in the world contributing towards nearly 17 percent of the global economy and the economic output surpassing 100 trillion yuan in 2020. The country struggling a few decades ago is not having per capita GDP as 10,000 USD mark as it is now an upper-middle-income country according to the World Bank.

The progress in the reform process has remained continued with the social system becoming better democratic with rule of law and modernization of the governance systems. Over the past these years, the living standards of the people have improved, the education system has also been easily accessible whereas as a result of the economic transformation jobs has been created. China has also established the world’s largest social security system which covers nearly 1.3 billion people.

China has strengthened its military and armed forces capacity and similarly built diplomacy through Chinese characteristics for the new era. Over the past more than seven decades what has made these remarkable and historic breakthroughs is the adaptability of change according to times.

These outstanding achievements are reflective of the fact about the CPC’s leadership and governance capacities’ and President Xi Jinping’s thought about socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

We have witnessed China’s remarkable resistance against all odds when the pandemic broke and shake the world. China has not only cooperated with the global community on the pandemic and built the health and lifelines of defense but also contributed towards the global efforts.

China contributed by providing nearly two billion doses of the vaccines to different parts of the world against the virus and donated 100 million USD for the COVAX support. Humanity at this critical juncture is also considering that how China is supporting and upholding the values of the UN for striving for a better community for a shared future for mankind.

This year also marks the 50th anniversary of China’s lawful restoration at the United Nations, where China is not only a founding member but also one of the five permanent representatives at the UN Security Council. Looking back at those historic events, it is clear that the unjust political and conflicting stances by a few countries have still continued against China, especially whether it’s a COVID-19 origin or any other issue.

The virus politicizations have also damaged the entire progress made on the process of global health and social recovery.

Over the past 50 years, China has immensely contributed towards the major goals of the UN through various development efforts, UN Peacekeeping missions.

China has helped the UN to apply the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development especially by making efforts to take nearly 70 percent of the world’s population out of poverty.

Apart from this China has made all possible efforts to support and contribute towards the global efforts in the face of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. China has made a commitment to continue efforts through its BRI initiative to restore peace and justice at a global scale.  The country is making outstanding economic and social development contributions for the world through the ideals of advancing a community with a shared future for mankind.

Over the past seven decades, Pakistan and China have made remarkable progress in our continued iron-clad relations. The growth has remained steady and rock-solid despite the global and regional challenges. Since the inception of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, the unique all-weather strategic cooperative partnership has opened a new chapter in Pakistan-China relations.

CPEC is in the second phase and completing with a faster pace for a high-quality development process. During the pandemic, it was the President of Pakistan who visited China to show solidarity and support to the Chinese people. Prime Minister Imran Khan made several visits since his assumption of office. Both countries collaborated at several levels hence making relations thrive and moving ahead with solid footing. Through the wishes and aspirations of the people of the counties, both countries are standing together against every global and regional challenge.
