Bangkok, 29 October 2021 (TDI): Thailand’s Prime Minister, Prayut Chan O-Cha participated in the 18th ASEAN Summit, on Thursday.
During the virtual meeting, Thailand emphasized to look beyond the Covid-19 pandemic for mutual benefit. The Prime Minister underlined requirement of advance cooperation on health facilities including vaccine and medical equipment.
He stressed over providing support for economic recovery and sustainable development. Furthermore, the Prime Minister also stated that he was looking forward to create a trust environment to contribute in regional security.
Earlier, Thailand participated in 38th and 39th ASEAN and related meetings to promote cooperation in multiple sectors. It also attended the ASEAN-AUSTRALIA summits and East Asia Summits.
