Tripoli, 10 August 2021 (TDI): On Monday, The Foreign Minister of Libya, Najla El-Mangoush, held a telephone conversation with Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to discuss the tragic fire in Greece and recent developments in Libya
During the telephone call, the Libyan Minister expressed sorrow with the Greek Minister for the loss of life caused by wildfire in the Greek forests and further expressed the solidarity of Libya with the Greek Government.
The Foreign Minister of Greece, for his part, praised the Minister’s position, reiterated his county’s full support for her efforts and all those efforts that the Government of National Unity and Presidential Council made to achieve stability and security throughout Libya.
He also praised the relentless struggle of the Libyan Foreign Minister to strive to end the Libyan crisis through dialogues among Libyan parties and establish suitable conditions for free and fair upcoming elections. In addition, they discussed Libya’s recent developments and ways to enhance bilateral collaboration between the two countries.
