Singapore, 17 November 2021 (TDI): Tanzania will attend the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in Singapore which is held from 15 to 20 November. Tanzania’s Vice President, Dr. Philip Mpango will participate on behalf of his country in the forum. The Vice president of United Republic of Tanzania is on a 5-day visit to Singapore.
Meeting with Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister
Tanzania’s Vice President Dr Philip Mpango met with Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, Heng Swee Keat, yesterday. Heng Swee Keat is also the Foreign Minister of Singapore.
In the meeting, the two discussed the healthy relationship between the two countries. They also discussed the recent developments in the partner countries.
In the productive discussion, the Ministers focused to enhance bilateral economic cooperation between Tanzania and Singapore. They also exchanged views on integration of regional economies.
The Vice President of Tanzania will also conduct bilateral meetings with leaders of various countries to promote the relations between Tanzania and the world.
He will also hold talks with heads of International Organizations, and heads of various institutions on the sidelines of session.
