Dushanbe, 27 December 2022 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affair of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with his counterpart, the Foreign Minister of Japan, Hayashi Yoshimasa to discuss multi-faceted cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations.
The discussion was more focused on the need to ensure that they protect and find other ways in promoting these relations further. There has been a consistent effort by both countries to elevate these relations.
Their ability to get the trade terms working stronger and in so doing to be able to generate revenue. The government of Tajikistan has all these years been a great trade partner of her friend and partner Japan.

Also, the agenda of the meeting was to ensure that other countries adopt their style of relations and build peaceful coexistence with each other.
In line with the above, the two sides discussed cooperation within the framework of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue. This cooperation was one of the central themes of their meeting.
The ability to ensure that the Central Asian countries and Japan develop a stronger relationship was a major issue of concern.
The parties together with some other leaders of the region met to find solutions and ideas for this very important topic. Tajikistan is a stronger player in all aspects of bilateral relations in the Central Asian region.
The Foreign Minister of Japan, Hayashi Yoshimasa emphasized the benefits these talks will bring to all of them if progressed further.
He again urged his colleagues to stay stronger and united in these times, adding that the economic development of each other country is a great concern for them all.
Tajikistan-Japan relations
It is pertinent to note that, Tajikistan and Japan’s relations were established way back in 1992 and they have continued to stay stronger all these years.
