New York, 22 September 2021 (TDI): Delegation of Tajikistan participates in the opening of General Debates of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
The 76th session of UNGA opened with General Debates. It was chaired by the newly elected President, Abdulla Shahid. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sirojiddin Muhriddin lead the delegation of Tajikistan to the session of UNGA. In a pre-recorded video message, Emomali Rahmon also expressed his thoughts on major topics on the global agenda. Along with ways to handle them.
UNGA is in charge of dealing with international peace and security issues that the UNSC isn’t currently dealing with. Human rights, international law, and collaboration in the “economic, social, cultural, educational, and health spheres” will be discussed.
