Tajikistan and Turkey held Political Consultations

Ankara, 26 October 2021 (TDI): The detailed meeting was held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Turkey.

The Tajik Delegation was headed by the Deputy Head of the Middle East and African countries of the Department of Foreign Affairs,  Muhammadi Muzaffar. The Turkish delegation was led by the Director-General for Bilateral Political Affairs (Caucasia, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe) of the Foreign Affairs, Yonet Can Tezel.

The sides discussed the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Turkey. Both sides Underscore the ways to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation. They discussed cooperation in the fields of economy. transportation, education, and culture. Furthermore, they also stressed the expansion and improvement of the legal framework.

The parties had constructive talks on strengthening cooperation in the framework of International and Regional Organizations. Moreover, both parties discussed other issues of mutual interest.
