Dublin, 30 July 2022 (TDI): The T10 Azadi Cricket Cup was conducted in accordance with the 75th Independence day celebration by the Pakistan Embassy in Ireland.

The event was in collaboration with the Irish Pakistani Professionals Association (IPPA) as a gesture of friendship and peace.

The ten-over match ended in the victory of Ireland over Pakistan. Additionally, Legendary players like Kevin O’Brien and Mark Canniffe participated from Ireland.

The spectacular cricketers appreciated and supported the players to the core. In addition to that, it was a superb source of enjoyment for the Irish-Pakistani people.

Cricket is a source of backdoor diplomacy and for promoting people-to-people contacts. That’s why this game is gaining popularity among the Commonwealth and other countries of the world.

Azaadi Tournament

The match became a source of bringing forth the communities of Pakistan and Ireland together as they raise slogans of Pakistan Zindabad in the celebration of its independence day.

Lastly, the people appreciated the embassy of Pakistan and IPPA for giving the two countries a chance to sit together and enjoy themselves. In addition, a group photo of the players was taken by the end of the match.
