Islamabad: June 26, 2021-(TDI) Today, Ambassador of Switzerland to Pakistan and Afghanistan Benedict de Cerjat took to Twitter and posted regarding Switzerland support to the Afghan people. He also mentioned the Swiss Development and Cooperation aid program in Afghanistan.
Last week, the Ambassador and Director General of the Swiss Development and Cooperation organization visited Afghanistan. During her visit, she went to Kabul, Herat, and Bagram. She met many Afghan officials including, first vice president Amrullah Saleh and Afghan Finance Minister Khalid Payenda.
She assured them that Switzerland would continue supporting people in Afghanistan. Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation organization will provide aid and assistance to help Afghan people suffering from the Covid-19, drought, and decades-long conflict.
