Islamabad: July 6, 2021-(TDI) Today, the Switzerland embassy in Islamabad hosted a discussion session on the relevance of Non-Permanent Members of the UN council. Recently, for the 2022-2023 term, Brazil, Albania, UAE, Gabon, and Ghana were elected as the non-permanent members of the UN Security Council.
During the event, Indonesian Ambassador Adam MTugio and UAE Ambassador Hamad Alzaabi gave valuable information. Member of National Assembly of Pakistan Andleeb Abbas, Former ambassadors, and Pakistani diplomats Riaz Muhammad Khan and Ashraf Jehangir Qazi were also present there. Swiss Ambassador Benedict de Cerjat took to Twitter and shared pictures of the event. He was happy to be part of the insightful discussion.
