Islamabad (TDI): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, received a UK parliamentary delegation led by Lord Sarfraz of Kensington at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad, today.
The delegation included Lord and Lady Lancaster, Dr. Ibrahim Almojel, and a group of prominent business leaders and investors from the United Kingdom.
Lord Sarfraz of Kensington, a British-Pakistani Conservative peer in the House of Lords, is known for his active engagement in promoting UK-Pakistan relations, especially in business, technology, and investment circles.

He is famous for his leadership in connecting British investors with opportunities in Pakistan and has been instrumental in fostering cross-border collaboration.
Also part of the delegation were Lord and Lady Lancaster. Lord Lancaster, officially known as Mark Lancaster, Baron Lancaster of Kimbolton, is a respected member of the UK House of Lords and former Minister for the Armed Forces.
He is well known for his vast diplomatic and defense experience, combined with Lady Lancaster’s involvement in philanthropic and cultural initiatives, reflects their longstanding commitment to strengthening international partnerships.
During the meeting, the delegation lauded Pakistan’s growing business potential and its rich, untapped tourism. The visiting dignitaries expressed optimism over Pakistan’s future as an attractive destination for global investors and tourists alike.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar underscored the vital role UK parliamentarians and influential figures like Lord Sarfraz and Lord Lancaster play in promoting people-to-people linkages and expanding bilateral cooperation.
