Islamabad (TDI): Sri Lanka’s newly appointed High Commissioner to Pakistan, Fred Seneviratne, presented the open copy of his Letter of Credence to Tipu Usman, Chief of State Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a meeting held at the Foreign Office on Thursday.
High Commissioner Fred Seneviratne extended his gratitude to Tipu Usman for granting an early opportunity to his credentials.
During the meeting, he assured to bring longstanding friendly and brotherly relations with Pakistan to greater heights and extended warm greeting to the leadership and people of Pakistan.
For his part, Chief of State Protocol Tipu Usman wished the diplomat all the success on his new assignment and assured Pakistan Government’s fullest support and cooperation during his tenure.

Minister at the Sri Lankan High Commission Christy Ruban was also present in the meeting.
