Spouses of Diplomats Celebrate Art and Harmony in Islamabad

Islamabad (TD): The annual meeting of the diplomats’ wives was held at the Islamabad Serena Hotel. The event was about cross-cultural understanding, discussion, and cultural expression.

Japanese and Philippine ambassadors’ wives were also present, along with other local and diplomatic community members at the event. Guests enjoyed a lively blend of artistic expression and engaging dialogue. The event gave the guests a chance to reflect on culture and interact with each other.

Farhana Azim, a prize-winning and talented artist, presented an amazing multimedia show that was the highlight of the event. Her paintings were sophisticated and culturally relevant, and everyone who saw them was interested. 

The show was a visual representation of Pakistan’s rich heritage and created interest and admiration from the foreign and local visitors. 

Besides that, Mrs. Wiqarunnisa Boolani addressed the audience directly and shared her thoughts during the session. Her comments were a valuable addition to the event and highlighted the importance of cultural events in bringing harmony to the community.

Throughout the speech, the themes of social harmony and positive dialogue were the focus. The annual conference was an open forum for the diplomatic spouses to interact with each other and appreciate Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage. 

Everyone knew the role these conferences play in promoting cross-cultural understanding and interaction among the expats. The environment was cordial and respectful, and people exchanged art, culture, and travel; many enjoyed the opportunity to engage with local creativity and intellectualism.

The session concluded on a positive note and emphasized the importance of cultural diplomacy and the role of the diplomatic community in promoting common values. The participants thanked the organizers for an event that combined artistic inspiration with world unity.
