South African team wins three medals at Paralympic 2020

Pretoria, 30 August 2021 (TDI): President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa congratulated team South Africa for their excellent performance at Paralympic Games and commended Ntando Mahlangu, Anrune Weyers, and Louzanne Coetzee for winning medals for their country. All three made the country proud by winning three medals. Ntando Mahlangu is the South African Paralympic athlete who competes in men’s long jump T63, 200m T42, and 200m T61. Anrune Weyers competes in T46 400 m and T47 400m while Louzane Coetzee competes in 1500m T11.
Ntando Mahlangu won the gold medal in T46 400 at the Paralympic 2020 and also holds one gold and two silver medals. Anrune Weyers also won gold in T47 400 at the same Paralympic 2020 and holds three silver and one bronze, while, Louzanne Coetzee won her first silver medal in 1500m T11 at the Paralympic Games 2020.
