Rawalpindi (TDI): Pakistan shot down 25 Israeli-made Indian drones in various parts of the country, as India carried out yet another blatant act of military aggression by sending Harop drones at multiple locations.
“The Pakistan armed forces, using their soft-kill (technical) and hard-kill (weaponized) skills fully, have shot down 25 Israeli-made Harop drones sent by India,” Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
Drones were neutralized in Lahore, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Miano, Chakwal, Karachi, Chhor, Rawalpindi, and Attock.
One drone crashed near Lahore, while others were neutralized close to Rawalpindi, Chakwal, and Karachi.
Four Pakistan Army personnel sustained injuries in Lahore as a result of a drone attack, while one civilian was martyred in Miano, Sindh, according to DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
He said that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully alert. India has targeted mosques and civilians during the ongoing hostilities.

The military spokesperson added that the process of India sending across these Harop drones was a “serious serious provocation”.
“This naked aggression continues, and the armed forces are on high degree of alert and shooting down them as we speak,” he asserted.
He said that the provocation miserably failed on the night of May 6 and 7, when India attacked places of worship and civilian infrastructure and martyred innocent civilians, including children, women and the elderly.
Recalling that the Indian army faced destruction of five of their fighter jets and suffering heavy casualties along the Line of Control (LoC) and damage, the DG ISPR said India has apparently lost the plot.

Rather than going on a path of rationality, it is further escalating in a highly tensed environment to satisfy the hubristic mindset of the Indian government, Gen Chaudhry said.
“The global community can clearly see the path that New Delhi is treading through this extremely provocative military actions in a region that is right now highly fragile and putting the security of the region and beyond in danger.”
