Sister city and province relations established between China and Pakistan

Zhengzhou: 19 July 2021 (TDI):  To celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, the Chinese and Pakistani cities of Zhengzhou and Lahore have signed an agreement for establishing sister-city relations whereas Pakistan’s Balochistan and China’s Henan provinces signed a letter to establish sister provinces relations.

The Pakistani Ambassador to China Amb. Moin ul Haque participated in the Signing ceremony of the sister-city relationship agreement between Lahore and Zhengzhou where he represented Pakistan and signed the agreement along with the representatives from Zhengzhou. Amb Haque stated that the development of sister city relations will enhance the practical cooperation as well as people-to-people connections between China and Pakistan.

On the other hand, sister province relations were also established between Pakistan’s Balochistan province and Chinese Henan province. A letter of intent to build sister-province relations between Balochistan and Henan was signed in the Henan Baluchistan Practical Cooperation and Exchange forum conducted online and offline in Zhengzhou.

The event was addressed by the CM of Balochistan Jam Kamal, Henan’s Governor Wang Kai, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Moin ul Haque. The opening event was also attended by Federal Defense Production Minister Zubaida Jalal.

By such steps, the cooperation and bilateral relations between both nations are enhancing and becoming stronger day by day.
