Washington, 21 August 2021 (TDI): On behalf of the US State Department, Secretary of State Antony Blinken extended his deep gratitude to UAE for its assistance in the Afghanistan Issue.
Sec Blinken issued a statement to appreciate the efforts of the UAE in facilitating the transportation of vulnerable US citizens and foreign nationals from Afghanistan. He reiterated that the safety of US citizens and personnel is their top priority and they are grateful to all those who have helped the US in this regard.
