Washington, 21 August 2021 (TDI): The US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken expressed his profound gratitude for all the allies and partners who are working to ensure the safety of foreign nationals in Afghanistan.

The State Department issued a statement on August 20 to acknowledge the efforts of US allies in Afghanistan. The statement mentioned the names of many states including France, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, United Kingdom, Denmark, Italy, Kazakhstan, and so forth. The department hopes that these nations will further facilitate the US citizens in their territories to reach their safe destinations. Additionally, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Kosovo, Mexico, Poland, Rwanda, and several other nations are thanked for their dedicated efforts in relocating the vulnerable Afghan nations.

The United States has ceaselessly worked through its political and diplomatic channels to bring the American and other nationals into safe locations. The statement mentioned that a total of 13000 people have already departed from Afghanistan on US military planes. The operation is still in progress with the help of US allies and partners in Afghanistan.
