Saudi Arabia, Iran Reaffirm Commitment to Beijing Agreement

Riyadh (TDI): Saudi Arabia and Iran have reaffirmed their commitment to fully implement the Beijing Agreement during a meeting in Tehran on Tuesday.

Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khureiji attended the third session of the Joint Tripartite Committee involving Saudi Arabia, Iran, and China.

Both sides “affirmed their commitment to implementing the Beijing Agreement in its entirety, and their continued pursuit of strengthening good neighborly relations through adherence to the UN Charter, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and international law.”

Saudi Arabia and Iran also welcomed China’s ongoing role and support in facilitating the agreement’s implementation.

China, in turn, expressed its readiness to continue backing and encouraging steps taken by both countries to advance their bilateral relations across multiple fields.

The three nations highlighted the progress made in Saudi-Iranian relations and the opportunities it presents at various levels.

They also called for an immediate end to Israeli aggressions in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria and condemned any actions threatening Iran’s territorial integrity.
