Islamabad (TDI): Saudi Arabia’s budget airline, Flyadeal, has been granted permission to launch operations to Pakistan.
The airline will start its flight services on February 2, with its first flight arriving in Karachi from Riyadh, according to media reports.
The airline will operate flights connecting Karachi, Riyadh, and Jeddah, providing passengers with direct travel options between the two nations.
As part of the launch, Flyadeal’s inaugural flight arriving in Karachi will be greeted with a water salute at the airport, a tradition for first flights.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan had already given Flyadeal approval for operating flights to Pakistan.
Flyadeal’s entry into the market is likely to enhance travel options for passengers, offering direct flights and enhancing connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
Flyadeal’s entry is expected to intensify competition among airlines operating on Saud-Pakistan routes, potentially leading to better fares and improves service offerings for passengers.
