Level 5 has not been issued at the volcano before since 2007. The meteorological department does not anticipate another significant eruption.
Large volcanic rocks were ejected by the eruption up to 2.5 kilometers away. No injuries or damage were reported. But authorities gave inhabitants of two adjoining communities a warning to leave.

Evacuation Order
The Japanese Meteorological Agency has increased the alert level to five. It is also urging local residents in neighboring residential areas to leave right once.
For certain areas of Kagoshima City, an evacuation order is also in effect. Large volcanic rocks could fall in portions of the city within 3 kilometers of two craters, according to Meteorological Agency authorities.
Additionally, they have advised people to keep an eye out for pyroclastic flows in locations up to 2 kilometers away from the craters.
Even far from the craters, winds could carry volcanic ash and small rocks, causing them to fall. Eruptions may cause atmospheric vibrations that are strong enough to shatter windows.
At the Prime Minister’s office, a task force has been established by the government. In order to determine the severity of the situation. It has also assembled a team of representatives from related ministries and organizations.
On Monday, the rain was predicted in the region, but according to officials, it was not expected to trigger mudslides.
