Kigali, 19 October 2021 (TDI): Rwanda hosts the virtual global summit on cleaning refrigeration, which aims to promote Sustainable Development Goals. The Official Twitter Account of the Embassy of Rwanda in Sudan shared the news today.
Today, various experts on sustainable cooling will take part in this summit globally. The primary aim is to give tools to business leaders and policymakers of Africa. The tools will help in maintaining and boosting farmers’ production. This virtual summit is going to assist in generating new ideas to reduce food waste, growing profit, and building a job market.

The British High Commission and Rwanda’s Ministry of Environment hosted this event to support preparation to establish the African Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Cooling and Cold Chain (ACES). ACES will advance cold-chains for vaccines and health by joining the diverse UK and African expertise with viable partners.
Minister of Environment, Jeanne d’Arc Mujawamariya stated that eliminating food losses will boost the economy, health, and also sustainable agribusiness opportunities.
