Russian President congratulates Iran’s new President

Moscow, 5 August 2021 (TDI): On Thursday, Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, extended President Vladimir Putin’s greetings to Ebrahim Raisi, who is about to be taking oath as Iran’s President.

The oath-taking ceremony will take place in the parliament building. The ceremony will be attended by over 100 visitors from 73 nations, including Vyacheslav Volodin. Furthermore, the new president is anticipated to present Iranian parliamentarians with a new government.

Both parties talked about the bilateral relations between Russia and Iran. Volodin also stressed that Russia gives significant importance to strengthening relations with Iran.
