Baghdad, 23 January 2024(TDI): The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in London hosted the Iraq Energies Forum under the theme “London Energies Forum.”
This unique forum brought together a variety of participants from the UK and Iraq, indicating a significant step towards encouraging cooperation and exchanging insights in the energy field.
International Energy Week
On February 26th and 27th, 2024, the London Energy Forum plans to launch International Energy Week. The London Energy Forum continues to grow over time, gaining broader prominence.
Additionally, in 2024, their hard work in providing cutting-edge knowledge will remain constant as they examine the exciting and ever-changing landscape of the energy fields.
Which focuses on supply security, sources of clean energy, and the move to carbon reduction, as well as investment prospects in the energy and gas industries.

Collaboration of Various Participants and Institutions
The event was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Iyad Bunyan, Prime Minister’s Advisor for Youth and Sports Affairs, as well as Iraqi and British participants.
Moreover, the ultimate objective of this event is to introduce the vibrant energy of the Iraqi community in the United Kingdom.
With their skills, experiences, and abilities across various areas such as health, education, investment, philanthropy, finance, banking, and technology.
Furthermore, the participants in the forum offered summaries of their respective fields of work, along with explanations of the hurdles and challenges they encountered along the way.
According to reports, community members also discussed and presented the initiatives they have undertaken in Iraq, highlighting the significant results achieved.
Commitment to Sustainable Growth
Furthermore, a number of participants have returned to their country to support young people to reconnect with and return to their country of origin, Iraq.
In accordance with recent developments, in 2023, the German Embassy had the privilege of announcing Iraq’s first Solar Energy Training Center at the 8th Iraq International Energy Fair in Baghdad.
This dedicated institution, funded by Germany, will train future solar energy experts, create jobs, and promote green growth.
In this context, the forum included meetings for discussion in which participants shared ideas, reports, views, and experiences, highlighted achievements, and proposed new approaches for implementing ventures in Iraq.
As a result, the participants and attendees praised the Iraqi embassy for supporting the organization of this event, which plays an important role in the growth and prosperity of Iraq.
