Agenda of meeting

During the meeting, the Quad members reaffirmed their unshakable support for the UN Charter, including its three pillars and its dedication to strengthening and reforming the UN and international system.

It included the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in its entirety and the attainment of the Sustainable Development goals.

The summit also reaffirmed a comprehensive UN reform agenda, including the enlargement of permanent and non-permanent seats on the UN Security Council.

This would help the Council to reflect on contemporary global realities and embraces more geographically varied viewpoints.

The Quad Ministerial Meeting applauded the progress made in fulfilling Quad pledges. In particular, the signature of operational instructions for the Quad Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Partnership for the Indo-Pacific, which was announced by Quad leaders in May 2022.

The leaders also backed continued efforts to advance the Indo-Pacific Partnership for Maritime Domain Awareness in close cooperation with regional partners.
