Qatari officials meet with UK Parliament delegation

Doha, 14 October 2021 (TDI): In Qatar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met with a delegation from the United Kingdom Parliament on Wednesday.

At the meeting, both countries reviewed various topics on agenda. Among them, the historical relations between Qatar and the United Kingdom. Moreover, ways to increase bilateral cooperation, taking into account regional developments and international aspects.

The United Kingdom delegation also thanked the State of Qatar for its outstanding efforts to build peace and sustainability in the region. In addition, they also noted the critical role of Qatar in assisting Arab countries in cost-effective development measures.

For their part, the representatives of Qatar stated that this meeting is part of the strengthening of diplomatic relations between both nations.
