Tehran: July 26, 2021- (TDI): Qatari Foreign Minister Al Thani visited Iran to meet top officials, just days after his visit to Washington. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Javad Zarif in Tehran.
The matters under discussion were related to bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the developments happening in the region. They also discussed the means to support and increase bilateral relations between the countries.
During Al Thani’s visit to Iran, he also met with the newly elected president of Iran Ebrahim Raisi. The FM of Qatar congratulated him on his victory and wished him success in the future.
