Kabul, 12 September 2021 (TDI): Foreign Minister of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met the Prime minister of Taliban-Afghanistan Mullah Muhammad Hasan Akhund in Kabul. The Foreign Minister of Qatar held a talk with the Taliban Prime Minister currently ruling Afghanistan. The official visit was to discuss bilateral relations, trade, economic developments, and world interaction.
Afghans Ministers including Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Salam Hanafi, Interior Minister, Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, Defense Minister, and intelligence chief Abdul Haq Wasiq attended an official visit to the presidential palace. This is the most top-hole international visit to Kabul as the Taliban got hold of Kabul in the last month.
The Foreign Minister of Qatar Muhammad bin Abdul Rehman said that there should be cooperation to fight against all terror organizations that are threatening the peace of Afghanistan.
The Prime minister of Afghanistan conversed about the bilateral relations and peace process. He appreciated the Qatar government for assisting Afghanistan and its people.
