Moscow, 23 August 2021 (TDI): Russia celebrated National flag day on 22 August 2021. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin attended the official flag hoisting ceremony in Victoria Park, Moscow.
Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Lavrov and Defense Minister of Russia Sergei Shoigu were also present at the ceremony. This year’s celebration marked the 30th anniversary since Russia officially affirmed its tricolor flag, declaring it the Russian National Flag.
The tricolor flag represents Russia’s pride and strength. It symbolizes the historical continuity and enormity of Russia. Also, the flag galvanizes the people and inspires them.
