Tashkent, 21 August 2021 (TDI): Delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan arrived in Cholpon-Ata. The delegation was received by Sadyr Japarov, the President of Kyrgyzstan. The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council was conducted. It was advised to emphasize the advancement of different sectors which include transport, economics, trade, and tourism.
The talks in extensive and constructive format were held by both sides. The observer status of Uzbekistan would prove beneficial to integrate opportunities for further cooperation in Eurasian Economic Union.
It was acknowledged that Uzbekistan successfully enforced joint projects in a constructive and objective manner in the economic field. During the corona pandemic, it was agreed to facilitate and collaborate with each other.
The focus was paid on digitization and transport juncture in the Central Asian region to promote bilateral cooperation.
