Xian, 18 May 2023 (TDI): President Xi Jinping holds talks with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov on the sidelines of the China-Central Asia Summit. President Xi Jinping welcomed President Sadyr Zhaparov to China on a state visit and to attend the China-Central Asia Summit.
President Xi Jinping recalled that he met with President Sadyr Zhaparov twice last year and reached important agreements on the development of China-Kyrgyzstan bilateral relations and multifaceted cooperation. President Xi added that the agreements are effectively implemented and have provided a boost to the development of relations between the two countries.
Both leaders met during the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Games. Both sides had an in-depth and pragmatic discussion and reached many common understandings. Both leaders met again in September last year in Samarkand. During the meeting, President Xi stressed the need of on deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in an all-round way.

President Xi also said that China is ready to jointly form a community of common destiny with the aim of good neighborliness and common prosperity and develop all-around cooperation to benefit the development and revival of China and Kyrgyzstan.
