Islamabad, 26 August (TDI): On 26 August, President of the Asian Development Bank Mr. Masatsugu Asakawa connected to Prime Minister Imran Khan on a telephonic call. The President praised the crucial role of Islamabad in helping in the evacuation of the Asian Development Bank personnel stuck at the Kabul Airport in Afghanistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also thanked and acknowledged the assistance provided by the Asian Development Bank to reduce the adverse implications of the COVID-19 pandemic apart from the procurement of COVID Jabs.
